Kansas City- Karyn Page, chief executive officer and president of Wichita-based Kansas Global Trade Services, was presented the second annual Women in International Business Legacy Award on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. The award is presented by the International Trade Council of Kansas City.
The International Trade Council of Greater Kansas City is a regional nonprofit professional association committed to building a strong and successful international business network in the Kansas City region. Kansas Global Trade Services is a Wichita-based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and facilitating international trade.
The women embodying this award have had a long standing career in international trade and have used their knowledge and expertise to give back to the community. Their leadership in the trade support network of Kansas City, their mentoring of future generations of trade professionals and their representation of Kansas City as a hub of trade expertise are the qualities that make up the ideal candidate for this award.
This is the second time this award has been given out. In 2016, the International Trade Council of Kansas City honored Tina Roth.
