Senior Director of Client Engagement
Ms. Schletzbaum graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelors of Science in Communications and Public Relations. While attending Emporia State, she played on the Women’s Soccer Team. After graduating in 2012, she earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Leadership from Newman University. In 2017, Ms. Schletzbaum became a Certified Global Business Professional.
Ms. Schletzbaum often works with CEO’s of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to learn their needs when it comes to selling their product or service outside of the U.S. Based from these interactions, she connects them to a subject matter expert within Kansas Global and to available local resources. Ms. Schletzbaum also advocates policy needs of SMEs to elected officials at the city, state and national level.
As Kansas Global’s Director of Client Engagement, Ms. Schletzbaum has the opportunity to speak on different panels across the state to provide insight on trade policy and how it impacts Kansas SMEs. In this capacity, she oversees employees and interns who are in research and marketing positions. She guides them to create and implement educational opportunities to enhance global trade, plan and execute marketing strategies, share relevant information about international trade, and develop material to promote products and services to customers and prospective clients.
